New Frack Sand Terminal Opens in Navarre
NEW CANAAN, Conn., Feb. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Unimin Corporation announced today the opening of its newest proppant distribution terminal in Navarre, Ohio. Located south of Cleveland, OH and southwest of Canton, OH the facility is strategically situated to serve hydraulic fracturing operations in the Utica shale formation.
Unimin's Navarre terminal is served by three class 1 railroads via the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railroad, and is easily accessed by over the road vehicles via Ohio State Highway 21 and US Interstate I-77. The facility will operate 24 hours daily, 365 days a year.
