18 New Ohio Permits, 10 in Carroll County

With 18 new permits on the latest report from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Ohio's horizontal drilling permit count has now jumped to 567.  268 wells have been drilled and 76 are in production, while 35 rigs are working in the state.

In the latest week of activity Carroll County saw 10 new permits, while three were approved for Belmont County, two in Monroe County, and one a piece in Columbiana, Harrison, and Tuscarawas counties.
