PA Study Doesn't Find Excessive Pollution Near Natural Gas Compressor Plant

The Department of Environmental Protection says tests near a natural gas compressor plant in eastern Pennsylvania don't show excessive levels of nitrogen oxide pollution. 
In January the Clean Air Council reported that the plant could be a serious source of air pollution, but that study was based on computer modeling, not actual tests. The plant, which collects natural gas from wells and sends it to pipelines, is located in Hughesville, just outside Williamsport.
