Utica Shale Exploration Group Begins Work

Much has been discussed about theeconomic potential of the Utica shale play, but a new group being formed in northeast Ohio wants to connect the dots to make it happen.
Energy attorney Don Fischbach and Ned Hill, dean of the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University, are serving as cochairmen of a shale exploration and production group that’s part of a comprehensive economic development planning process in northeast Ohio. Lorain National Bank CEO Dan Klimas is heading the overall effort.
