GE Oil & Gas Sets Sights on Canton

From The Canton Repository:
The city is finalizing negotiations with GE Oil & Gas on plans to construct a 24,000-square-foot facility at the Mills Business Park.
The industrial service center would serve as a regional hub for all of GE’s Marcellus and Utica shale operations, according to Fonda Williams, the city’s development director.
The business park is at Faircrest Street and Sherman Church Avenue SW.

“Their workers could go here for additional piping and parts and take it back to actual (drilling) rigs,” Williams said of the Mills site.
