Rex Energy Donates $33,500 to Build Carroll County Ball Field

From the Free Press Standard:
Members of the Carroll County Park District were all smiles last week when officials from Rex Energy arrived in Carrollton carrying an oversized check.
The check, a donation from the company to build a new ball field at Carroll Community Park, was made out for $33,500.
Dave Rogers, director of land Appalachian Region, was all smiles as well when he presented the poster-size check to Wayne Chunat, president of the Park Board.
“We are happy to partner with the Park District on this project,” he said. “I spoke with Wayne previously about the needs in the community, the parks and other areas, and we received comments about the need for a ball field. We are happy to help out. We are looking for big things from Carroll County and we are proud to be a part of the community.”
