Investment Firm Trying to Lure Restaurant Chain to Carroll County

An energy investment firm with one hotel under construction in the Utica shale play region is building another in Noble County and has plans for a third.
Drill Capital LLC also is trying to woo a restaurant chain to Carroll County, founder Farid Guindo told me.
The New York City firm last year announced plans for its first hotel in Carrollton, spurred by oil and gas development of the Utica shale play. Microtel Inn and Suites, part of theWyndham Hotel Group,  will open sometime in the next quarter
The second hotel under the same hotel group will break ground by early May in Caldwell, the county seat of Noble County in southeast Ohio.
