Unity Pipeline Proposes Transmission System From Ohio to Canada

HOUSTON, Texas, November 4, 2013 – Unity Pipeline Company, LLC (Unity), a joint venture among Harvest Pipeline Company (Harvest); Somerset Gas Transmission Company, LLC (Somerset); and Crossroads Pipeline Company (Crossroads), part of NiSource’s Columbia Pipeline Group, today announced that it will begin a two-phase open season to elicit commitments from prospective shippers seeking transportation service on its proposed, approximately 380-mile diluent pipeline. Phase One, a non-binding open season, will provide prospective shippers an opportunity to quantify their interest in the Unity Pipeline, which will carry condensate and natural gasoline to serve markets in Canada. Phase Two, a binding open season, will provide prospective shippers the opportunity to submit offers for firm, long-term transportation service and will be held at a to be determined time period in 2014.
Phase One of Unity’s open season will begin at 9 a.m. CST on November 4, 2013, and conclude at 12:00 p.m. CST on December 20, 2013.
