Job Fair 2012 is going to be held at The Employment Source in New Philadelphia on April 11th, and it's a great opportunity to connect with a large number of companies who are looking for employees.

According to an article in The Times Reporter, the 54 companies signed up is a record high for the event.  Among those are companies with operations in Carroll, Guernsey, Harrison, Holmes, Stark, and Tuscarawas counties, including several in the energy industry.

"We're very pleased with the number of employers participating," said Monica Gwin, public relations specialist for TES.  "This is exceptional - and we're anticipating more companies.  Just today The Timken Company joined in."

Job seekers can call TES at 330-364-9777 to help prepare for the Job Fair.  They will help you to prepare a resume if you don't already have one.  Anyone attending the Job Fair is encouraged to bring a resume with them.

“I can’t stress enough that job seekers should plan to put their best foot forward at the Job Fair,” Gwin said. “There’s a lot of competition for jobs. People should dress appropriately and be prepared to interview on the spot.”
In addition to jobs in the oil and gas industry, there are many other positions open in other fields.
